Police lights   RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies say two people have been taken to a hospital after a shooting incident on Longtown Road. Deputies say they were called to apartments at 508 Longtown Road in reference to a shooting incident just before 7 p.m. on Sept.25, Wednesday. When deputies arrived to the scene, two men were found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. EMS also responded to the incident location and took both individuals to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies determined that the two individuals are acquaintances who became involved in an altercation with one another that turned physical, according to RCSD. When the altercation became physical, the first man retrieved a firearm and began firing at the second man. Then the second man also retrieved a firearm and began firing at the first man. Both men received gunshot wounds as a result. Richland County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the incident, say charges are forthcoming.
