BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that left one person injured on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The incident took place around 7 p.m. in the 3400 block of N. Foster Drive. BRPD said the vehicle on the scene was flipped upside down against a tree after hitting a house, fence and fire hydrant. Police said the driver had to be extracted from that vehicle before being taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to BRPD, the other vehicle and driver involved have not been located. The investigation remains ongoing and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
