LULING, La. (WGNO) — The Alligator Festival returns to Luling for a 43rd year. Alligator enthusiasts can make their way to the West Bank Bridge Park starting on Sept. 26 for four days of music, food and alligators.
According to a news release, festivalgoers can expect live alligator exhibits, Cajun cuisine, carnival attractions and about 100 vendors "selling unique and handmade items."
In addition to the food and live exhibits, festival organizers said attendees can also look forward to live music performances from Thomas Cain, the Chee Weez, Bag of Donuts and more.
The festival is hosted by the Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish, and organizers said the proceeds will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors at Destrehan High School and Hahnville High School.
Alligator Festival is set to take place from Thursday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 29. Organizers said admission for adults is $5 and admission for children under 10 is free.
