My father turned 89-years-young last week. An avid Giants fan, he’s seen them play at Yankee Stadium in the ’60s and was a season-ticket holder since 1976 at Giants Stadium. Pop says he loves my columns, even if he doesn’t always understand “what the heck I’m talking about” with the Fantasy angles. As a result, he’s buying the Daily News more often. I consider it high praise that he ponies up for this paper every week, because he subscribes to The Post. Oh well, nobody’s perfect. Thanks Dad! GIDDY UP! QB Kyler Murray (vs. Commanders) — The Commanders have given up nine TD passes this season. Even Daniel Jones threw two on them. Murray could be a top five scorer in a contest that has the highest predicted point total (49) for the week. QB C.J. Stroud (vs. Jaguars) — If there was ever a get-right game for Stroud, this is it. Currently a lowly 18th in the Fantasy QB ranks, he will skin the Cats for at least three TDs. RB Chuba Hubbard (vs. Bengals) — Hubbard is pretty darn good. He had over 100 yards rushing last week, with another 55 receiving and a TD. Rejuvenated QB play from Andy Dalton will keep Hubbard chugging along in another high-scoring game. RB Jerome Ford (at Raiders) — I’m going back to the well. I don’t understand the Cleveland brain (or lack of a brain) trust not running the ball more (12 times) against the Giants last week. It’s been established QB Deshaun Watson cannot win with his arm any longer. In Ford we trust. He missed Wednesday’s practice, so check status (knee). WR Rashid Shaheed (at Falcons) — He gave you a huge donut last week, but it wasn’t for lack of targets (5). He had a 50-yard bomb bounce off his hands in the end zone too. Start Shaheed on the fast track in Atlanta to redeem his misfortunes from Week 3. WR Christian Kirk (at Texans) — Historically, Kirk has always been good for 15 Fantasy points per game. He’ll reach that goal in Houston. Trevor Lawrence and the Jags can’t be as bad as they looked on Monday in Buffalo, can they? TE Dalton Kincaid (at Ravens) — TEs Brock Bowers and Jake Fergusen both topped 95 yards against the Ravens this season. It’s a weakness the Bills and Josh Allen will attack on Sunday Night Football. WHOA DOWN! QB Justin Herbert (vs. Chiefs) — High ankle sprains take more than a week to heal, but Herbert gutted it out last week in Pittsburgh, with disastrous results (11 Fantasy points). Even if he suits up vs. K.C. in a game the Chargers desperately need to win, there’s no guarantee he finishes the contest. QB Aaron Rodgers (vs. Broncos) — Rodgers looked like his old Packer self in a Thursday night laugher against the Pats. But the Broncos enter MetLife Stadium having held Geno Smith, Justin Fields and Baker Mayfield under 200 yards and one TD apiece. That’s just almost what Rodgers averages anyway. RB Javonte Williams (at Jets) — Don’t be buncoed by this Bronco. He has 24 carries, 52 yards and a fumble in three games. I don’t care how high you drafted him, get Javonte out of your lineup. RB Zach Charbonnet/Kenneth Walker III (at Lions) — Whichever back gets the nod this week, remember one thing: you can’t run on the Lions. WR Michael Pittman (vs. Steelers) — Every Colts receiver seems to be catching passes but Pittman. He hasn’t topped 36 yards in a game thus far, and with QB Anthony Richardson averaging just 12 completions a week, it’s hard to trust Pittman in a tough matchup against the Steelers. WR Jaylen Waddle/Tyreek Hill (vs. Titans) — Until the Fins bring back Dan Marino, Bob Greise or even David Woodley to play QB, Waddle and Hill remain non-starters. TE Hunter Henry (at 49ers) — Henry’s 109 yards against Seattle in Week 2 was an aberration. His 18 and 9-yard outputs in his other two games are more like it. Thursday Night Special: The Cowboys beat the Giants twice last year by a combined score of 89-17. Does Malik Nabers make a difference this time? Not unless he can tackle CeeDee Lamb.
