Former first lady Melania Trump called the raid at her Mar-a-Lago residence in connection with an investigation into former President Trump's handling of classified documents "an invasion of privacy."  “Yeah, it made me angry. Yes. Invasion of privacy. And, the way it was done, was I was really surprised," Trump said during an exclusive interview granted to Fox & Friends this week. Fox host Ainsley Earhardt asked the former first lady "what would it look like when you walked back in your house that had been raided?”  “I saw unpleasant stuff that nobody wants to see it," she replied. "And you get angry because, you know, nobody should be, putting up with that kind of stuff. Some person I don't even know who or how many people they, you know, they went through my stuff.” The classified documents case was dismissed earlier this year by U.S. Judge Aileen Cannon, who ruled that special counsel Jack Smith was not lawfully appointed. The move was seen as a major victory for the former president, marking the first time one of his four criminal cases has been dismissed entirely.  Earhardt also asked Trump about the two assassination attempts her husband has faced this year as he runs for a second term in the White House — one at a rally in Pennsylvania where a bullet grazed his ear and another at his golf club in Florida. "The guys that they were his team, they were fantastic," she said praising the way Secret Service responded to both incidents. "And, I think both of the events, they were really, miracles, if you really think about it." "July 13th, it was a miracle like that much," she added. "And he could, you know, he could not be with us.” Trump's sit down with Fox this week is a rare media appearance that comes as she promotes a new book and has largely stayed out of the public eye as her husband campaigns for the White House this fall.
