PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Providence food hall slated to open in Union Station in February has announced its final merchant lineup. On Wednesday, the Marsella Development Corporation announced that Little Chaska and Tolia will be joining Dune Brothers, Dolores, There There, Giusto PVD and Mother Pizzeria PVD inside the food hall called "Track 15." The vendors will collectively offer a variety of different cuisines including Mexican, Middle Eastern, Indian and Italian food. BACKGROUND: ‘Track 15’ food hall to showcase Rhode Island cuisine “Building this food hall has been a labor of love for all of us," Marsella said in a press release. “Despite the challenges of renovating a historic building, our team is making progress every day, and we can’t wait to open our doors to a truly unique experience that is unlike anything in Rhode Island.” The developers said the name "Track 15" pays tribute to the original Union Station built in 1898 which had 14 intercity rail lines and operated until 1986. When the historic building's restoration is completed, there will be a large central bar, seven Rhode Island-based restaurants and both indoor and outdoor seating.
