AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person is dead after a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian in east Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media Wednesday. The crash happened at the intersection of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Springdale Road. Medics said they responded to the crash shortly after 9:30 p.m. Medics said CPR was in progress on one adult. Medics later pronounced that person dead on the scene.
