AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced Sept. 12 on two charges in connection with a February 2023 incident in east Austin. According to Travis County court documents, 31-year-old Hunter Rouse was sentenced to serve eight years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. The sentence will run concurrently with another sentence of eight years for one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, according to court documents. Toward his sentence, Rouse received a jail credit of 568 days.
