FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Nearly 200 volunteers in a Fresno church came together to improve a parking garage in Downtown Fresno, officials with the church announced.
Peoples Church says last Saturday, nearly 200 volunteers repainted the spiral parking garage on the corner of Van Ness and Inyo in Downtown Fresno. The project is being done in partnership with the City of Fresno and Beautify Fresno.
According to officials, the project is part of the church's celebration of its 70th anniversary with Celebrate70 Serve Days, in which volunteers will be participating in a series of community service projects aimed at "making a lasting impact in Fresno."

Anyone interested in volunteering on Saturday can register as a volunteer at the Peoples Church website.
